Briones Wins Again On The Tiger Amateur Tour !!!!! The Tiger Amateur Tour held stop #8 of the season this past weekend at Slick Willies near Dairy Ashford in Houston,Texas. This is without a doubt the best Slicks location in the city and we had a 75 player turnout for the 2 day event, as well as 20 more for the Sunday Second Chance Event. This event had $1,000 Added to it. We had several out of towners come in from Louisiana, as well as all around Texas, we thank you all. So we played it down to the final 16 Saturday and they all came back Sunday to fight it out for the cheese.

Tiger Amateur Tour Stop #4 of 2011 has its fourth double dip of the season.

Tiger Amateur Tour Stop #4 of 2011 has its fourth double dip of the season. The Tiger Amateur Tour held its fourth stop of the season at Clicks Billiards in Houston,Texas on the weekend of April 2/3. The event drew a full field of 64 players, we had to turn a few away due to limited space and tables. So the action was played down to the final 16 players whom would all cash and come back Sunday to fight it out for the top prize. So the final 16 which had 8 on the winners side and 8 on the one-loss side were as follows with match scores.

Alonzo Double Dips Em Again on the Tiger Amateur Tour ! The Tiger Amateur Tour held its 3rd event of the season at Big Johns Sports Bar in Houston, Texas the weekend of March 5-6. This was also our first bar table event of the year. Other events in the area kept our attendance down a little with 51 players, still not shabby, but we will always work with everyone to not have any schedule conflicts in our future events.

Briones wins two hill-hill thrillers to take the second stop on the Tiger Amateur Tour. The weekend of February 19-20 the Tiger Amateur Tour held stop #2 of the season at Houstons newest billiards room, Big Tyme Billiards. The event had 76 players show up and it was played down to 16 on Saturday, all who would be back Sunday to fight it out for the cash. We had players from all over Texas and a few Cajuns that attended also. We appreciate them all and look forward to seeing them again.

Machine Gun Mike Alonzo Double Dips Young for the Season Opener !!!!!

The Tiger Amateur Tour kicked off the season at Bogies Billiards in Houston,Texas on the weekend of January 8-9. The event drew 83 players, and was played down to 16 players on Saturday night. So the final 16 came back on Sunday to fight it out for the cash.

Q Stix Billiards was the last stop of the year for the Texas Amateur Tour held over the weekend of the 18-19th of December. The event had $900 added and saw players from along way for this one. We had them from as far as Odessa,Texas. We would like to thanks those who made that long journey and hope to see them again.

Ty Few and T Pet take down Texas Amateur Tour Event at Bogies!!! Bogies Billiards in Houston,Texas drew 69 players in for the Texas Amateur Tour event held over the weekend of November 27/28. The event had a $950 added prize pool in all. We had players from Dallas, Victoria, Angleton, New Iberia, and Lafayette, as well as Houston.

Q-Stix Billiards in Houston, Texas hosted the Texas Amateur Tours 1st event on the weekend of Sept 18-19. With a total of 62 players, 48 in the Amateur and 14 in the women’s open event, the numbers were down from expected but still a great event with a lot of positive feedback on the new tour. We had players from as far away as Baton Rouge in attendance, as well as Lafayette, San Antonio, Temple and Austin.
